The PX Transformation and Enablement group exists to ensure delivery of key PX transformation priorities which will include strategic, cross-functional programs of work that address systemic review and delivery of uplift across the PX value chain including process, systems, insights and employee experience for Xeros. It is more critical than ever that our PX teams are able to deliver our strategy and that our functional resources are clearly aligned to enable these teams.
Working closely with the PX Transformation Manager and wider transformation & enablement team, you will support executing and delivering to our PX strategy, OKRs and transformation roadmap. Ensuring we develop and embed the frameworks needed to help us scale effectively and embed excellence in all that we design, build and deliver.
Our PX Transformation is focused on reimagining the way we deliver a world-class employee experience to employees and people leaders across Xero, in a scalable and consistent way. Fundamental to this are our PX systems which we need to consolidate and optimise to deliver a seamless and integrated experience to end users.
You will make an impact by understanding our systems needs across Xero across the employee lifecycle, developing requirements for system improvements and procurement, and supporting the implementation and embedding of new systems.
What you’ll do
Evaluate current systems and technologies to identify strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvementConduct thorough analyses of system functionalities, data structures, and integration pointsCollaborate with end-users and stakeholders to gather and document system requirementsClearly define functional and technical specifications for system enhancementsCommunicate requirements in a simple and understandable way to stakeholders Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in existing processes and propose improvementsWork closely with PX teams and stakeholders to streamline workflows and enhance system usageAnalyse data flows within systems and databases to ensure accuracy and consistencyCollaborate with data analysts to improve data quality and facilitate effective decision-makingWork with stakeholders to design and implement system improvementsEnsure that proposed solutions align with business and technological requirementsPlay a critical role in forming and executing the PX strategy and transformation roadmapIdentify, scope and implement short and long term opportunities to support and embed the future PX service delivery model Generate insights to recommend and advise on how best to improve systems to deliver our PX Transformation and a world class employee experience Work with the PX centres of excellence (LX/TX/OD) to identify opportunities to improve our systemsWork closely with the Business Operations & Strategy Projects team and be a conduit for PX initiatives Bring your natural curiosity, detailed approach and customer-oriented thinking to all you do, proactively delivering insights to inform decisionsCollaborate with and support the team in the creation of user journeys, process / story mapping, content, and delivery plansDeliver planning workshops and discovery sessions to support the progress towards change and transformation Maintain a strong understanding of the transformation roadmap and how it aligns to Xero’s and PX’s strategic vision, direction and priorities

What you’ll bring with you
5+ years experience in a business analyst, systems, and/or consulting role - added bonus if experience within an HR/people environment Experience working with HR systemsProven experience in designing and delivering on systems strategyProven experience in supporting the awareness, education, engagement and optimisation of systemsDemonstrated experience rolling out new systems to a variety of key user groups, ensuring efficiency for end usersA passion for creating human-centered experiences that delight end users and that solve business problemsStrong commercial acumen with a data-driven mindsetDetail oriented and methodicalAn ability to think strategically, and translate strategic direction into actionable programmes of workAn ability to leverage data and metrics to ensure effective design, implementation and measurement Tech savvy and is both comfortable and motivated to help users make the most of available systemsA natural problem solver, with an ability to come up with innovative solutions to complex problems Able to exercise effective judgement, sensitivity, creativity to changing needs and situations.
